Here is a look at some of the ministry we did in Mexico. The Cancun Missions Team would like to express their deep gratitude to everyone who helped make our trip such a success. Thank you for your sacrificial giving and powerful prayers. Families in need were fed both spiritually and physically. The impact on our missions team was lifelong. We love missions!

JONAH SERIES

Beginning July 11th at 10:15AM, Pastor Dan begins a look at Jonah and its meaning for us today. More than an Old Testament story, the book of JONAH shows God’s relentless pursuit of rebels—-and that category includes everybody. He has every right and plenty of reason to give up on us all . . . but He never has and never will. Jonah learned the hard way . . . maybe we won’t have to.

I finally got the internet to work in my room instead of having to sit in the very hot lobby with all the mosquito’s.
We have had two full days of ministry at the Rancho Viejo mission site. It has been tiring but satisfying ministry. We have had some rain which caused some of the families to stay home since they have no car and have to walk. God has blessed the work and efforts of our team and we are very excited to come home and share with all of you. Enjoy the pictures! Goodnight we need to get some rest because tomorrow is the Caribbean Sea! Pray that the rain stops.

Yesterday we finished our ministry program and food distribution at the Millagro Mission site. We were in the middle of our service when a downpour came so we made a quick dash to the church building. It was very exciting when we prayed with the children and many responded.

Today we attended Sunday morning services at our host church Cancun Vida Life. It was a wonderful day of bilingual worship that none of us will soon forget. We had some more amazing food and dickered with the shop keepers for a few souvenirs. This evening we attended the church at the mission site and played with the children. It was difficult to say goodbye, the children hugged us and asked to have their picture taken with us.

Tomorrow we go to Rancho Vejo mission and do our ministry program. Pray many children come to hear the gospel and also pray for strength for our team as it is very hot and humid here and we are all feeling the affects of the heat.

Internet service here is very sporadic and crashes many times, pictures are especially difficult. So please be patient with the updates.

We enjoyed the most amazing breakfast complete with fresh Mexican sweet breads! Yum! After driving to the mission site and setting up, we walked to the school and invited the children to the church for the program. The kids came when they saw the balloons and heard the music. We were so excited when 90 children showed up! The Bethel team was amazing making balloon animals, singing songs, performing object lessons, playing games and mostly just loving on kids! When Pastor Ron asked the children to pray and receive Jesus many responded.
After lunch and cleaning up we walked the surrounding neighborhood offering prayer and free food. There was much gratitude and a few tears from those who received the food and from some of our own team. It was an eye opening experience! We ate some more amazing authentic Mexican quesadillas for dinner and went to a city park to experience some Mexican culture. We all had a wonderful day. Thank you for your continued prayers! Tomorrow is another exciting day of ministry with the children.
