We are finding that the more we love God and seek to make His love known, the more rich and fulfilling our lives become. His love through Christ Jesus has transformed us and we desire to share His love in our families, our relationships, our community and our world.

Our dream is to be a church that is reaching out to the families and individuals in the Quad City community, sharing Christ’s love with its power to heal the broken, the beaten and traumatized. We welcome skeptics as well as seekers — our church is a place where the person with doubts and even fears about God can come as they are and perhaps discover for the first time that they really matter to God. We want to be a place where the discouraged can come and be lifted up, the addicted can come and be set free.
Jesus was very clear about God’s power to heal and deliver, “What is impossible with men is possible with God” (Luke 18:27 NIV).
So, the people of Bethel are ordinary people who serve an extraordinary God. We are black, white, rich and poor; we are young, middle-age and elderly. We are real people living real life and serving a real and mighty God.
