Cancun Day 3 & 4

We have had another couple of amazing days. Yesterday we finished our ministry program and food distribution at the Millagro Mission site. We were in the middle of our service when a downpour came so we made a quick dash to the church building. It was very exciting when we prayed with the children and many responded.

Today we attended Sunday morning services at our host church Cancun Vida Life. It was a wonderful day of bilingual worship that none of us will soon forget. We had some more amazing food and dickered with the shop keepers for a few souvenirs. This evening we attended the church at the mission site and played with the children. It was difficult to say goodbye, the children hugged us and asked to have their picture taken with us.

Tomorrow we go to Rancho Vejo mission and do our ministry program. Pray many children come to hear the gospel and also pray for strength for our team as it is very hot and humid here and we are all feeling the affects of the heat.

Internet service here is very sporadic and crashes many times, pictures are especially difficult. So please be patient with the updates.
We love you all and thank you again for your amazing support!

  1. Sally says:

I wondered how internet service was for you when at times mine was slow or not responding yesterday, I thought because of storms perhaps. I really miss you all, but know you are doing an awesome work, and pray for continued strength in that heat. May God continue to give you all God-given strength for the day, and peaceful sleep at night. Keep up the good work God knows of all your sacrifices and is very pleased!

  2. Pastor Dan Qualls says:

    Dear Cancun Team,

Thank you for the update . . . I am confident that God is using you greatly. And each of you are making memories (and friendships) that you will never forget. Only wish that I (we) could see what you are seeing and experiencing first hand. May God’s grace empower and anoint you for your ministry today and the remainder of the week. Your Bethel family is praying diligently for you.

  3. Sandra Cline says:

We really missed all of you at church yesterday, but were so happy knowing that you are doing something wonderful and life-changing. Bring home lots of memories for a lifetime – and drink lots of bottled water.

    Love you all!

    Sandy

  4. Chris and Melody Allen says:

  5. Wanda Castrey says:

How awesome it is to hear from you all and see
how happy doing God’s work makes you all. Your
smiles are worth more that gold or diamonds.
Take lots of pictures, because this is a life
time experience you will want to review over and over. God will bless you all because you are blessing others. Keep up the happy work and we will keep praying for you all.

    Love you all.

  6. LouAnn says:

continuing to pray for unity and effective ministry that is life changing to both all of you and all of them. :)

  7. mary dotson says:

we love reading the great reports! We’ve been praying for your team, and will continue to do so, enjoy what happens when you sacrifice your selves and let go and let God do amazing things through you!

  8. Lyle Foster says:

Thank you for the update. We continue to prauy for you all and hope the heat is not too much for allof you. I look forward of hearing about the souls you are reaching. I am sure God is useing you.

  9. Love the updates! Can’t wait to hear more about how God is using you to share the great news of His hope and love. I wish I were there, and for those who have never been to other countries- I can assure you it is amazing to be a part of their worship. They praise and sing with such abandon, enthusiasm, and stamina (their services are much longer than ours but they never seem to mind!) There is such a revival mentality, I wish it were so back here. Can’t wait to hear more! Love you guys!
    Karen
