Cancun Day 2
Our day started out early with devotions and a team meeting. We enjoyed the most amazing breakfast complete with fresh Mexican sweet breads! Yum! After driving to the mission site and setting up, we walked to the school and invited the children to the church for the program. The kids came when they saw the balloons and heard the music. We were so excited when 90 children showed up! The Bethel team was amazing making balloon animals, singing songs, performing object lessons, playing games and mostly just loving on kids! When Pastor Ron asked the children to pray and receive Jesus many responded.
After lunch and cleaning up we walked the surrounding neighborhood offering prayer and free food. There was much gratitude and a few tears from those who received the food and from some of our own team. It was an eye opening experience! We ate some more amazing authentic Mexican quesadillas for dinner and went to a city park to experience some Mexican culture. We all had a wonderful day. Thank you for your continued prayers! Tomorrow is another exciting day of ministry with the children.
